About Alice Sinclair

Alice Sinclair is a member of the Canadian Country Music Association, Songwriters Association of Canada, Alberta Cowboy Poetry Association, East Coast Music Association, Alberta Music Association and SOCAN. Alice has sung all across Canada, in Ireland and the United States. In December 2008, Alice performed in Nashville and sang at Tootsie's Orchid Lounge, at Legends, and was at the Blue Bird Cafe. She also sang on the radio station, and they have invited her back.

Alice was invited to entertain at the Alberta Women of Country in 2007. She was a featured artist at the Festival of Stars, for 2005, 2006 and 2007. She won 1st place in the Adult Singing Contest at the Kikino Rodeo in 2007. Alice won the yodelling event on the Fairview Radio Station in 2008. Alice sang at the Dow Centre in Fort Saskatchewan in January of 2009. Alice sang at Ivan Daines Rodeo in August 2009. Alice performed at the Great Canadian Barn Dance in September 2009.

Alice has been singing and playing musical instruments since she was 10 years old, but her favourite instrument is her 12 string guitar. Alice does Classic Country, New Country, Rock and Roll, Pop, Celtic, Big Band, and also sings in 4 languages. She has performed around Alberta at many shows, festivals, and also at benefits for Battered Women, Farmers' Aid, etc., as well as gigs for many Royal Canadian Legions in Alberta, the Army/Navy Club as well as Community Leagues and private clubs/hotels in Edmonton, Gibbons, Sherwood Park, and Fort Saskatchewan.

John McDermott, internationally known singer, sent a special invitation to Alice and Bill to attend his concert in Edmonton at the Winspear Centre on November 11, 2009. John dedicated this concert to the military and veterans and it was a very proud moment when Bill (MWO WCM Sinclair) was asked to stand up in full uniform to a packed house. Before the concert, John took Bill and Alice to the green room where they chatted and took these pictures with him.
